From quote to invoice, from stock to profit: one connected flow

See how a sale moves through Hamesh, and why the numbers at the end match the ones you quoted.

Many small businesses use one tool for quotes, another for stock and a spreadsheet for profit, then spend hours making them agree. In Hamesh each step feeds the next: the quote becomes the invoice, the invoice moves the stock, and the stock carries the cost that makes your profit report right.

Quotes, sales orders, invoices

Start from a customer request or a blank quote. Add products, services and saved charges; tax and discounts are calculated per line. An accepted quote converts into a sales order or directly into an invoice, keeping every line, price and cost snapshot.

Payments, returns and follow-up

Record full or partial payments by cash, card or transfer and see what each customer still owes. Returns and refunds are recorded separately, so the original invoice and payment stay intact.

Inventory per location

Every branch and warehouse has its own stock and average cost. Purchases add stock where they arrive, sales orders reserve it, invoices deduct it, and transfers move it between locations with full history.

Profit by item

Because each sale records the cost of what was sold, the profit by item report shows quantity, net sales, cost of goods and gross profit for every product and service. It uses the same figures as the financial overview, works per branch or for the whole business, and exports to CSV.

Switch on only what you use

Quotes, sales orders, inventory and branches are features you switch on when you need them. A one-person service business can stay with quotes and invoices; a distributor can use the whole flow.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to use sales orders?

No. Sales orders are optional: you can convert a quote straight into an invoice. Use them when you need to confirm an order and reserve stock before invoicing.

Does profit take returns into account?

Yes. Returned items reverse their revenue and cost on the item they name, so profit by item reflects returns and refunds.

Can my staff create invoices without seeing costs?

Yes. The owner decides who can see costs and profit; staff without that permission can still prepare quotes and invoices, with the cost parts hidden.
