Stock per location
Each branch or warehouse has its own quantities and average cost. Opening stock, purchases, sales and adjustments are recorded where they happen.
Transfers that keep the cost
Move stock from the warehouse to a shop or between branches. Both sides of the transfer are recorded in the stock history, and the cost moves with the goods so branch profit stays right.
Staff see only their branch
Limit employees to the locations they work in, and decide separately whether each person can edit, view reports or see costs and profit. Owners always see everything.

When do I need more than one location?
Only when you store stock or sell from more than one place. Most single-shop businesses need just one, and Hamesh starts that way; add a location whenever you open a new branch or warehouse.

Do I pay per branch?
No. Branches and warehouses are part of the business workspace that comes with the Starter and Pro plans; you don't buy a separate subscription for each location.
Can sales orders reserve stock at a branch?
Yes. Open sales orders set stock aside at their location until they are invoiced or cancelled, so the same items are not promised twice.
Can I restrict an employee to one branch?
Yes. The owner can limit each employee to specific locations, and the restriction is enforced on the server, not just hidden on the screen.
